Class size

Middle school classes average 10 - 12 students, with a maximum capacity of 15 students.

​

School Day

Classes begin at 8:30 am each morning. Dismissal is at 3:30 pm. Students may arrive as early as 7:15 am and must by picked up by 3:45 pm.

After School Program (ASP)

After school care is available at the lower school campus until 6:30 pm for an additional fee.​

​

Enrichment/Electives

Each student will take Spanish. Art, Drama and P. E., and soon to be added, Praise and Worship.

Field Trips/Retreats

Each grade participates in fall and spring field trips. Past trips have included: 

• Look Up Lodge, Travelers Rest, SC

• Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA

 

Uniforms

Students wear a Cumberland uniform shirt with khaki or blue pants or walking shorts. "Free dress" days may be allowed according to the administration's discretion as long as guidelines are followed. More specific information regarding dress code can be found in the Student Handbook.

Lunches

Hot lunches are available for an additional fee. Students may also bring sack lunches from home.
