School Day

We offer full and half day programs. The school day begins at 8:15 am Monday-Thursday, and 8:40 am on Fridays. Full day classes dismiss at 2:15 pm. Half day classes dismiss at 12:15 pm. Students may arrive as early as 7:00 am with no additional fee.

After School Program (ASP)

After-school care is available until 6:00 pm for an additional fee. If you need to reach ASP between the hours of 3:15 - 6:30 PM, you may dial 404-229-7130 OR our main CCA line, 678-426-1600, ext 4. If you need to reach someone during the school day, please call our elementary number 770-426-1600, ext. 2.

 

Requirements for Admission

K3 students must be three years old on or before September 1st; K4 students must be four years old by September 1st; Students are interviewed and observed at play for evaluation but no formal pre-entrance testing is required at the preschool level.

 

Class size

K3 and K4 classes have no more than 12 students per class. Each class has a certified teacher and part-time aide depending on class size.

Curriculum

We primarily use the A Beka curriculum. This provides students with a strong foundation in phonics while presenting foundational teachings about the Bible, Jesus Christ, and salvation. Preschool classes have hands-on learning centers to enhance readiness skills.

Special Events and Field Trips

Throughout the year there are numerous parties and fun days. Fun days have a special theme such as a holiday, Apple Week, or STEM Week. Field Trips require a parent to transport and chaperone.

Uniforms

K3 and K4 students may wear play clothes on most days. Each student is required to purchase a red CCA logo uniform shirt for field trips and chapel days.
