Alex and Stephen Kendrick had always wanted to produce movies that glorified God. What set them into action was a shocking 2002 survey that claimed the Church was no longer one of the top 10 most influential factors in American culture. With the cooperation of Sherwood Baptist Church and its members, the Kendrick brothers were given $20,000 to make their first film. No one anticipated what a blessing it would become.

The local theater had agreed to show the film for one week. But when sell-out crowds pushed Flywheel into the second-highest grossing movie slot, its run was extend for several more weeks and into other theaters throughout Georgia. Thousands of DVDs and videos have been sold as people share its message with friends and family. Several Christian television networks have now asked to show Flywheel in the coming months. Most importantly, testimonies have poured in to Sherwood Baptist Church about how Flywheel is a powerful tool that God has used to help them turn to Christ, strengthen their families, and pursue godly priorities.

This Christmas season we are selling copies of Flywheel for $20 (DVD) and $15 (VHS) at our Administrative Office.
