The Vision Takes Shape

The evidences of God's work and continued blessings upon Cumberland Christian Academy are so many. Not only are young lives being molded and changed, but tangible physical improvements in our circumstances abound to our good and His glory. Consider the changes you have seen just in the past few weeks:

Mr. Jeff Williams, Kayla's dad, provided the leadership, training, expertise, and labor force to install a first quality covering for our walkway at the Westside campus. By donating his services and leading a volunteer labor force, Mr. Williams helped us to be blessed in this way for a modest materials cost. We rejoice greatfully.

New playground equipment was installed during December on three campuses. Our students love it!

Year end gifts to the school totaled over $16,000. Loving Cumberland friends and supporters continue to rise up and contribute to our continuing growth. For such love we praise our Lord.

We continue to receive good reports on the Christian character, the good sportsmanship, and the success of our atheletic teams. As our sports program continues to expand we celebrate all the excellent leadership God is sending our way. Let us not fail to give thanks.

The Hurt Road campus is reporting the professions of faith of a large group of our elementary students. These young people have responded to the gospel we teach and we rejoice in them.

These events, along with your survey responses confirm that the CCA family, our administration, and board members are united. A mutual corporate vision is developing. You, the parents, have communicated belief in:

___  A God-centered and Biblical approach to education for our school and a desire to continue this bold witness.
___ Continued growth and expansion as God provides and leads.
___ A commitment to gain full accreditation for our high school and retain certified teachers at all levels.
___ Raising teacher saleries.
___ Developing a school-wide foreign language program, broader computer usage, an arts program, and a resource teacher pool.
___ Improved libraries and cafeterias.
___ An expanded and enhanced Physical Education Program.

Now our administration and board will pray, prioritize, and work to provide leadership for the growth we need in each of these areas. God is blessing and we are moving forward. Keep your eyes and ears open for all the blessings which are coming our way.
