About CCA

Accreditation

Grades K3-12 are accredited by ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International. In addition, CCA is "Accredited with Quality" by the Georgia Accrediting Commission for grades K–12. Accreditation qualifies our graduates to receive the Hope Scholarship and assures parents that a school meets nationally approved standards for education. Since CCA is accredited by ACSI at the preschool level we are not licensed by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and are not required to be licensed. We are committed to ongoing self-monitoring to maintain compliance with state licensing requirements.

Athletics

Cumberland is a member of the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association, the second largest athletic association in the state of Georgia. Sports availability is subject to participation. Sports currently offered include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, cheerleading, volleyball, softball, and equestrian. Summer instructional camps are also available. More information is available on our athletics page.

Curriculum

Various Christian curriculums are used according to grade level. Our curriculum reflects our Christian perspective and is designed to prepare the student for college.

Our teachers are certified or in the process of completing their certification. They come from a variety of Christian denominations and are committed to living under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
