Jason Allen

Jason Allen attended Surry Community College, Appalachian State University, and Johnson University. He is currently working on his Masters Degree at Liberty University in Sports Management. He played baseball and basketball in college and coached women's basketball at Johnson University. Jason Allen is the husband of lower school teacher Deanna Allen. Jason came to CCA in 2011 to re-start the soccer program.

Herman Sims

Assistant Athletic Director

Herman is entering his sixth year of coaching at Cumberland and his third year as the Assistant Varsity basketball coach. He enjoys sharing his life experiences with boys as they grow into young men. Herman played basketball at Furman University where he scored a career high of 23 against North Carolina. He graduated from Furman with a Bachelors of Arts degree. He also serves as the Assistant Athletic Director at CCA.

Kathy Livengood

Athletic Secretary

Kathy comes to CCA after working 19 years with IBM. Kathy also has a background in communications with AT&T; as an instructor, teaching men and women to be long distance and overseas operators. Kathy brings organizational office experience and takes care of the day to day business in the Athletic Office. She and her husband Gary are active in their church at Trinity Fellowship. She has a grandson who attends CCA.

Alex Ayres

Upper School Health/PE

Alex is a CCA alumnus who graduated with a B.S. from Jacksonville State University. He is an ACSI certified teacher for all levels of physical education.

Pam Warren

Lower School PE

Pam Warren has taught physical education at CCA for over 20 years. She received her Youth Fitness Certification from Interactive Fitness Trainers of America. She earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Point University (Atlanta Christian College). Pam and her husband Sam have three children, all graudates of CCA. She also teaches piano and keyboard in CCA's Extended Day School.
