Mr. Ronny Franke, MA, MDiv

Mr. Franke has a BA in History and MA in Education both from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He also earned his MDiv from Singapore Bible College. He speaks fluent Mandarin. Most recently he has served as a social studies teacher at an Atlanta area private school. Mr. Franke shares Dr. Greene’s and Dr. Campbell’s love of the outdoors and will be an integral part of developing new challenging outdoor experiences for TCS students.
Mr. Franke states, “I look forward to joining the team at Cumberland, teaching several high-school humanities subjects while chairing the Bible and Social Studies departments. What a wonderful opportunity to introduce TCS students to this amazing world over which God has given us stewardship, while studying His providential leading of mankind throughout history—HIS Story.” Welcome to Cumberland!

Mrs. Cassie Whitt
Cassie Whitt grew up in the local area but relocated for college in 2009. She attended the University of Virginia’s College at Wise, studying elementary education and special education. She has known since a very young age that she wanted to be a teacher and attempt to make an impact that certain teachers had made on her. After finishing school, she went on to teach special education in Virginia for a few years. Since moving back to Georgia, she also had the pleasure of teaching third grade and Kindergarten. She has a wonderful and supportive husband named Josh, two beautiful children, Owen who is 8 (and will be attending The Cumberland School next year) and Sawyer who will be turning 2 in September. She enjoys anything adventurous, traveling, reading, watching her son play basketball, spending time with family and watching SEC football.
She is looking forward to working at the Cumberland School and getting to know each of you and your children. The decision for her to be here was made very prayerfully. She is excited about the work God is going to be doing on the children this year.
Welcome to TCS, Mrs. Cassie Whitt!
