PURPOSE OF ATHLETICS AT CCA:

Realizing that God made man spirit, soul, and body:

We seek to use the fertile ground of athletic competition to teach not only the sport, but also self-control.

We seek to teach unity through team play, obedience through the player-coach relationship, and disciplined commitment through required practice.

We seek to develop athletes whose charater and play glorify God and not the athlete.

We seek to provide an avenue for as many studendts as possible to play their sport of choice.

We seek to reflect and complement the vision and goals of Cumberland Christian Academy.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Cumberland offers students sporting activities each season of the school year. These include tournament play competing with some of the best regional and state-wide Christian schools, Christian fellowship with other athletes, and a sports banquet which is held each spring to honor our athletes.
