Requirements
for Admission - Interested
families should contact the school office (770-819-9942) to schedule
an interview with the principal. Middle school students must
attend the interview with their parent(s). Students are required
to take a math placement test. They should bring a recent report
card and standardized test scores to the interview. more information
Tuition* - 2008/2009 annual tuition for grades 6-8 is $5,670
and may be paid on a ten month schedule. In addition, there is
a $100 application fee; a $350 matriculation fee is due upon
acceptance. more

Uniforms
- Four days a week students
wear a CCA logo shirt (red, navy, or gray) with khaki pants or
walking shorts. On Chapel days boys wear a navy oxford cloth
shirt with khaki pants and girls wear a light blue oxford cloth
shirt with khaki skirt. "Free dress" days may be allowed
according to the administration's discretion as long as guidelines
of modesty are followed. More specific information regarding
dress code can be found in the Student
Handbook.
School
Day - Middle school classes
begin at 8:05 each morning. Dismissal is at 3:05 pm. Students
may arrive as early as 7:15 am and must by picked up by 3:30
pm.
Transportation - Parents are responsible for transporting
students to and from school. A carpool list will be provided
upon request.
Lunches - Lunches are provided by local restaurants and
may be purchased each week on Monday morning. The price for lunch
and a drink is $3.75. Students may also bring sack or reheatable
lunches from home.
Testing - CCA administers the Stanford Achievement Test.
Our students have consistently scored well above the national
norms. In 2007 CCA's 8th graders scored at 70-6 National Percentile
Rank-Stanine and 12.7 Grade Equivalency.
Field Trips - Each grade participates in an annual
extended field trip. Field trips have included:
- 6th Grade - Coker Creek Village,
Tennessee
- 7th Grade - American Pro Diving/Marine Science Station in Crystal River,
Florida
- 8th - Savannah, Georgia or Washington, D.C., depending on class size
