Class size
High School classes have between 5-20 students per class.
School Day
High school classes begin at 8:10 each morning. Dismissal is at 3:15 pm. Students may arrive as early as 7:15 am.
Accreditation
CCA's High School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Accreditation qualifies our graduates to receive the Hope Scholarship and assures parents that a school meets nationally approved standards for education.
Transportation
CCA allows high school students with a valid Georgia driver's license to drive their vehicle to school. Students are not allowed to leave campus during their lunch period or any other time during school hours without written permission from the parent.
Uniforms
Four days a week students wear CCA logo shirts (red, navy, or gray) with khaki pants or walking shorts. On Chapel days boys wear white oxford cloth shirts or navy CCA logo button-down shirts or polo shirts with khaki pants and girls wear white oxford cloth shirts, light blue CCA logo button-down shirts, or polo shirts or with khaki skirt or pants. "Free dress" days may be allowed according to the administration's discretion as long as guidelines of modesty are followed. More specific information regarding dress code can be found in the Student Handbook.
Lunches
Lunches are provided by local restaurants and may be purchased each week on Monday morning. Students may also bring sack or reheatable lunches from home.
Testing
CCA administers the Stanford Achievement Test to grades K5-12. In the fall of each year, CCA administers the PLAN test to 9th graders and the PSAT to grades 10 and 11. We offer these tests for the purpose of preparing the students for the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and the ACT (American College Test). Juniors and seniors are encouraged to register for both the SAT and the ACT. Forms necessary for the registration of these tests are available through the principal's office.
Educational Goals
CCA's focus is to equip students for college. However, we have recently added the option of a General Education Diploma in addition to the College Prep Diploma currently offered. The General Education Diploma is designed for the student who plans to pursue vocational school or the job market after graduation.
Mission Trips
Believing firmly in the biblical mandate to carry the gospel around the world and believing in the educational value of mission activities, our school board, staff, and faculty are committed to involving our students in Christian missions. Each year our 11th and 12th graders participate in a week-long field trip, either in the US or abroad.
2009/2010 Tuition
Annual tuition for grades 9-12 is $6,450 and may be paid in ten monthly installments. In addition, a $550 application/matriculation fee is due for each student registering for enrollment. Tuition for international students is $8,000 per year with an application/matriculation fee of $650.
