CCA School Counseling Program
The mission of the Cumberland Christian Academy’s School Counseling Program is to provide biblically based counsel and guidance through relationships with the CCA student body (K3-12th grade) in the following three domains:
- Academic development
- Personal/social growth
- College and career development
We are a partnership of home and school:
- Working together for the purpose of transforming each student’s heart, soul, and mind as a follower of Christ
- Establishing a biblical worldview
- Preparing students for college/career by helping them explore and discover their God-given purpose and gifts to ultimately glorify Him in all things
Sherry Campbell - CCA School Counselor
Sherry Campbell, M.S., L.P.C., holds a M.S. degree in Counseling, a Christian Counseling Diploma, a B.S. in Psychology, and an A.A. degree. In her 20 plus years in counseling—as a Licensed Professional Counselor, GA Certified Professional School Counselor, and ACSI Professional Guidance Counselor Specialist—she has served as a mobile assessment coordinator, in-patient program director, and an individual and group therapist in private and church based counseling centers. For the last 9 years she has served in private Christian schools as a professional school counselor working at all levels, elementary, middle, and high school.
