Walk-a-Thon

Each fall we conduct our annual major fundraiser, the Walk-a-Thon. Every family is asked to make a gift or send appeal letters. CCA relies on Walk-a-Thon contributions to enrich and expand our programs and facilities.

To day we have received approximately $109,000 in gifts and pledges. The $50,000 matching contribution added great excitement to this year's fundraising. These gifts will allow us to balance our budget, expand our elementary playground, add a security fence and buy ten laptops for the middle school, install security cameras at ou elemtary and high school campuses, as well as bless the Good Shepherd School in Haiti.

Stock Donations

Consider giving a gift of appreciated stock rather than cash. You will receive a charitable deduction for the current fair market value of the stock, but you won't have to pay any tax on the capital gain that you've incurred since you originally purchased the shares. Call the business office for more information.

Publix Make a Difference Cards

CCA receives a percentage of purchases made at Publix when you present your school card. These cards do not expire.

Kroger Earning Plus Learning

Kroger's Earning Plus Learning program allows KrogerPlus card members to earn up to 4% cash for CCA on eligible purchases. Each year you must register your card for the current school year. Print the Parent Letter from Kroger and submit to the cashier to enroll in the program.

Target Take Charge of Education

Go to www.target.com and click on redcards if you are a Target Card or Target VISA user. When you designate CCA as your school we receive a percentage of your purchases.

General Mills Box Tops for Education

Each label is worth $.10 for CCA. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for information.

Campbell's Soup Labels for Education
