Stephen Kendrick
Class of 1992
Stephen Kendrick is a senior associate pastor of preaching at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. He helped establish Sherwood Pictures in 2003 and has served as co-writer and producer for each of its films: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and the upcoming film, Courageous, to be released in theaters September 2011. He co-wrote The Love Dare, the novelization of all three movies, and The Love Dare Day by Day: a Year of Devotions for Couples. Stephen shares that he is thankful for the training and preparation he had at CCA. Whether it was typing with Mrs. Martinez, English with Bill Wilkins, or Bible with Mr. and Mrs. Oxendine, Stephen sees Cumberland as having helped equip him to serve the Lord in ministry in the future. He currently lives in Albany with his wife and four children.
Tabitha Martinez Randol, M.D.

Tabitha is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and Medical College of Georgia. She joined Eastside Pediatrics in Taylors, SC in 2007. Tabitha and her husband, Richard, have three children.
Levi Skipper
Class of 1996
Levi Skipper is a graduate of Shorter College with a Christian Ministry Degree, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree, and Luther Rice University with a Doctorate of Ministry. Levi is the founder of First Day Ministry. Through First Day, Levi has had the opportunity to preach revivals, crusades and men's conferences and seen God do great works. He is currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, Georgia. Levi is author of the book, Marriage in the Red. He and his wife, Christa, have four children.
Lindsey Skelton Perez
Class of 2000
Lindsey attended Lee University as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, graduating in 2005 summa cum-laude with a degree in Elementary Education. While at Lee, she had the opportunity to participate in the Global Perspectives group study program in Italy. She was the 2005 recipient of the College of Education’s Excellence in Student Teaching Award. She has taught elementary education in the Tennessee public school system and later returned to Marietta to teach third grade at Mount Paran Christian School. Lindsey shares that her desire for teaching grew out of her experiences and relationships with her teachers while at CCA. She is married and has been living in Nashville, TN while her husband, Jonas, completes his PhD at Vanderbilt University.
Brittany Southerland Cone
Class of 2001
Brittany S. Cone is an associate with Hall Booth Smith & Slover, P.C. She attended Berry College as a Winshape Scholarship recipient where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. While at Berry, she spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain. Mrs. Cone received her JD from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008. At Georgia State, she was a member of the Law Review and served as associate symposium editor and associate editor for student notes. Mrs. Cone also served as an extern for the Honorable A. Harris Adams of the Georgia Court of Appeals.
John Michael Oyervides
Class of 2007
John Michael Oyervides, a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, is currently serving in Okinawa, Japan, under III Marine Headquarters Group Military Police K-9 section. He has deployed with his military working dog, Aaron, to Ar Ramadi Provence Iraq. During his tour to Operation Iraqi Freedom he conducted numerous weapons cache sweeps and IED route clearances to ensure the safety of fellow Marines and other branches of service. He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Corporal while finishing his tour in Iraq. John Michael continues to rely on the foundation that Cumberland Christian Academy instilled in him. He and his wife, Shelby, are currently preparing for his upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. Psalm 91
Lindsey Wheeler
Class of 2008
Lindsey Wheeler is currently attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Carolina Covenant recipient. She transferred to UNC after spending two years at Berry College where she spent both years on the Dean’s List. Lindsey is majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with an interdisciplinary minor in Cinema.

Emily Wheeler is a sophomore at Valdosta State University majoring in Marketing. She is on the Dean’s List and actively involved in the Baptist Student Union. She attended CCA from K3 thru 12th grade and feels that CCA prepared her both academically and spiritually for college.
